General terms and conditions of business

The following terms and conditions apply to the Shiatsu Summit organized by MWGS Hara Shiatsu: (subject to change | version dated September 1st, 2023)

§ 1 Registration

Registration for Shiatsu Summit 24 is binding. A legally valid contract is created upon receipt of the registration. The participant receives a confirmation of participation by email.
The participation fee is per ticket including VAT and is due upon completion of the booking online. The purchased ticket can only be used by one participant. The congress, event and seminar documents are protected by copyright. The reproduction, distribution or other use of the documents is only permitted with the express consent of the organizer.
The organizer assumes no liability for any program changes, printing errors or speaker cancellations.

§ 2 Cancellation

The following cancellation conditions apply to the cancellation:
• Cancellation until 31.3.2024: 50% refund of the participation fee
• Cancellation from 01.04.2024: No refund
These conditions also apply if the participant does not appear, including in the event of force majeure, if they are unable to attend due to illness, accident or similar reasons. Cancellation must be received in writing via email ( info@shiatsu-summit.com ). The date of receipt of the email is used to determine the right to a refund.

Registering a replacement participant is possible at any time without additional fees.

§ 3 Postponement / Cancellation / Cancellation of the Congress

If the event is postponed, the ticket is automatically valid for the postponement date. Tickets are not returned or exchanged. If the event is canceled, the participant can request a refund of the amount already paid within 30 days. In this case, the amount will be fully refunded. Beyond that, the participant has no rights whatsoever. In particular, a claim for reimbursement of travel and accommodation costs as well as loss of work is excluded.
If the respective event does not take place or is postponed or canceled due to circumstances for which the organizer is not responsible, such as force majeure and equivalent events, such as national mourning, weather influences, strikes or war, epidemics or threats to health, then The organizer shall not be held responsible for any resulting loss or damage. In these cases the entry fee cannot be refunded.

§ 4 Access / Liability

Staying at and in the event location is at your own risk.
The organizer is only liable in the event of intent or gross negligence. In the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations, liability also exists in the event of simple negligence, but is limited to foreseeable damage typical of the contract. Claims for damages resulting from injury to life, body or health remain unaffected by the above restrictions. Clothing and luggage are left at the cloakroom at the express risk of the participant.
The events are prepared and carried out by qualified speakers. MWGS Hara Shiatsu GmbH assumes no liability for the timeliness, accuracy and completeness with regard to the documentation and the implementation of the event.

§ 5 Data Protection / Image Rights

For MWGS Hara Shiatsu GmbH, compliance with the applicable data protection regulations is a matter of course. The information received from the participant will generally not be passed on to third parties and will only be used to carry out the event. However, the participant agrees that MWGS Hara Shiatsu Gmbh may use this data for its own advertising purposes. If a participant expressly does not wish this, he or she must inform MWGS Hara Shiatsu GmbH in writing immediately after registration. The participants accept that the organizer or congress partner will use innovative congress digitalization as part of the congress and serve as an illustrative example of the congress experience.
The participant is aware that pictures and/or statements of him or her may be recorded at the event and, by participating in the event, agrees that MWGS Hara Shiatsu GmbH will use this material for their benefit can use your own documentation without restrictions. This excludes images or videos that depict the participant in a discriminatory manner.

§ 6 Final Provision

MWGS Hara Shiatsu GmbH reserves the right to change these general terms and conditions at any time without giving reasons. Such changes do not apply to orders that have already been placed. If individual points of these general terms and conditions are or become invalid, this will not affect the validity of the rest of the contract.

Austrian law applies to the contractual relationship and all disputes. The place of jurisdiction is Vienna.
